Can you plan quickly, and are you good at thinking ahead?
Then put your abilities to the test in "JoRace". Build
a road network and keep the golden ball in play for as
long as possible. But be careful not to get too close
to the black hole!
The
playing field consists of the various blocks of a road
network. The golden ball is in the starting position at
the beginning of the game. As soon as the time indicator
on the right side of the screen reaches the top, the ball
starts moving. It is your job to build a road network
for the ball and to keep it in play for as long as possible.
To do this, you can turn all blocks in 90-degree steps.
By clicking a block with the left mouse button, you can
turn it counterclockwise, and by clicking it with the
right mouse button, you can turn it clockwise. When the
ball reaches the edge of the playing field, it continues
moving on the opposite side. Every time that the ball
leaves a block, a new block takes the old block's place.
Keeping the ball in play therefore becomes more and more
difficult. Also, the golden ball gets faster and faster
the longer it is in play. The game ends when the ball
is either swallowed by the black hole, or when it reaches
a dead end.
Blocks
and Score:
When
the ball exits a block, the score is increased by that
block's number of points (which is proportionate to its
difficulty).
The starting block - no point. At the beginning
of the game, the ball is on the starting block. Build
a road network that begins at the starting block. The
ball only starts moving when the time indicator at the
right side of the screen reaches the top.
A straight connection - 1 point.
A corner connection - 1 point.
A one-way road - 2 points. One-way roads can only
be entered from the wide end.
A three-way block - 5 points. In the three-way
block, two exits are possible. (The movement of the ball
never takes a 180-degree turn.)
A crossroads - 10 points. The crossroads is the
most difficult block to master. You have to plan the roads
in three directions.
The black hole. The game ends if the golden ball
is swallowed by the black hole.
